JAMB decides admission benchmark, others July 21

The 2022 policy meeting for the 2022/2023 admission is scheduled to take place on July 21, 2022, according to information obtained.

Fabian Benjamin, the board's spokesperson, revealed this information in a text message he sent on Wednesday to our correspondent in Abuja.

The summit will determine admission standards, chart policy directions for the country's tertiary institutions, and conduct a comprehensive analysis of application data, performance, and the admissions process.

The 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry Examination attracted a total of 1,761,338 applicants.

Out of the 1,707,626 candidates who took the exams, the board reported that only 1,671,203 results had been made public.

Statistics showed that 27,105 results would go through additional screening.

The board reported that 69 results were withheld, and 1,783 candidates will have their exam dates changed due to biometric issues.
